About me

I am straight forward and prefer to keep things simple by being direct and non judgemental. That belies the complexity of my personality as I can be very serious when I have to be, but enjoy a good laugh (never at anothers expense) I believe humour is cathartic.

I am 5'4", slim and sociable. Just reached 48.Physically fit, I can still run and play football when I have to. Prefer dance, gardening and diy (although not at the same time) rather than the gym as a mechanism to remain in shape.

I work hard and enjoy what I do which is fortunate, as I spend a great deal of time at work.
Family are very important to me and I treat close friends as an extension of my family. When not working we enjoy large, chatty, catch up family meals in and out.

Travel is a joy and I am lucky enough to have family and friends living on almost every continent.

I enjoy the arts and regularly see live bands, go to the theatre and read avidly. I like to explore socially challenging issues and where I can, I will do my bit to help.

I don't smoke and enjoy a drink occassionally.

I am looking to connect with people who can challenge and make me question a whole range of issues. It helps if I also smile or chuckle at the very thought of them. This will be because you are kind, honest, humorous, have integrity and passionate about things.

People that do not judge other people's choices and are positive, half full kinda people are important to me. I enjoy the company of lively, practical, confident, adventurous individuals who are curious about the world and have sharp minds and an off the wall sense of humour.
