So, where to start, I hate filling in these things! I am an ecologist by trade, pay the mortgage by surveying for small furry animals, mainly of the winged mouse variety. However, my passion is music, I play piano and sax in a couple of bands and love any opportunity to see live music. My taste is pretty varied, from big band swing to folk and jazz via the Boss!

I grew up down south (in my defence I got out as soon as I could!) but ended up in Northumberland via Scotland. I currently live alone, well apart from two little furry guinea pigs, and am fed up of not having anyone to have a cup of tea with when I get in from work! 

I'm looking for someone who shares my interests or who will at least be tolerant of my obsessions! I'm pretty laid back so am looking to meet people who are equally relaxed about life, people who tend to see the funny side.
