..And my all-time personal favorite, do you love sitting for endless hours... all alone... the harsh light of the screen illuminating your face... because you prefer online 'friends' to the effort of intimacy with real life human beings?

I recently moved to the area and am working in Peterborough, to be near my daughter, after years in London and before that living in Japan, some time before that born in Africa..

Culturally confused? nah... but ending up in Combine 'Arvester land was never on the plan somehow!... :)

I'm well spoken, well paid, well educated, and well bored with local yokels who still point at aeroplanes in slack-jawed wonder.

I'm not crippled by shyness or lack of social skills - simply want to make use of the internet to reach out to like-minded people; the local pubs here are great for talking about cars or football before losing the power of speech but I'm looking for a little more than that!

I'm not looking for banal one-liners - or at the other end of the scale, don't have unrealistic aspirations of super models who also cook and can fix cars. Normal is good. Don't pretend you're fit if you're not.

I'd be happy to make some new friends here to enjoy Salsa dancing, playing squash...meet the love of my life might be nice, but who knows or dares to dream hehe... Pretty standard things I'm after really, the only thing is it's not easy to build a social life when living in a small village!

If you can empathise with that, then lets grab a few beers and put the world to rights :-)
