About me
Welcome to my profile, I hope you like what you find here, I've tried to include a little insight into me and some interesting photo's in my gallery.
About me: I'm a divorcee with 2 teenage sons, the eldest now making his way in the world and the youngest at college.
I am 5ft 6ins tall, long brown hair, blue eyes (you probably guessed that already, huh?)
I'm a professional, working full time for a global telecomms company, which I do actually enjoy.
I find TV soaps and football boring, I've survived this long without pets and whilst I don't dislike animals, I have no desire to have one in my life.
I'd describe myself as fun to be with, creative, intelligent, likeable (loveable, even) easy going, I scrub up quite well too ;-) I'm open, honest and very caring. I don't have a problem with public shows of affection - I greet my friends with hugs & kisses!! (male and female)
I'm originally from Enfield, North London, but have lived in North Essex and Cambridgeshire before moving to where I am now (Hants/Berks borders).
I would like to meet up with people in the Basingstoke or Newbury area, for the sake of being sociable and I am planning to travel further for meetups.
I like to holiday in warm and sunny climes, that said, I have visited Iceland - twice! I still prefer the warmer places though...

OK, I've tried this giving up smoking malarkey and I've Failed, ok? I'll give it a whirl again sometime, but just not now. I have cut right down, less than 2 packets a week (from 5) don't give me a hard time about it, I'm not looking for a lover or romantic partner, so hopefully it won't matter to you.
I can be very flirty at times, but it is meant in a fun and friendly way. If and when I change my mind about the dating and romance, this will all be updated appropriately.
About you
What am I looking for? it asks..... I'm here to make some new friends, male and female, any shape or size. I'm not unhappy with my own company, so I'm not looking for a relationship for the forseeable future. There are only so many times you can open your heart to someone, only to end up with it bearing another scar...? I prefer to get to know someone and see where it goes, companionship is much more of a requirement than having a romantic partner. I still believe that Chemistry is what turns friends into lovers....and maybe one day I'd like to love and be loved again, but it isn't on the agenda at this time.
I'm not going to write all the old cliches here, but I enjoy most things in life and even on my own I am capable of getting out and enjoying some of them....
