I'm a friendly, fun loving female, who enjoys the company of good friends and family. I play keyboards, and enjoy a range of music from 'oldtime' to 'soul'. Music is an important part of my life.

I share my own home with my cat 'Lucy', who is now 14 years old, and very bossy! I'm fond of most animals, and did once foster a lamb who was rejected by its mother.

I have 2 grandchildren.

I'm still a working woman, and find it helps to keep my brain active.

I'm happy with my life to a point, down to earth and live in the real world.

I’m told I have a GSOH, kind and considerate of other people’s feelings, and a good friend. I’m a good listener and share their problems.

I enjoy the simple things in life with the right person, good conversation and intelligent debate, but nothing too heavy. I also like to experiment in the kitchen and love the taste of well-seasoned food.

If I have to be serious, that’s OK, but I love to laugh, and with the right partner can be quite silly, spontaneous, irrational and very romantic. Hate playing with other people’s emotions, as I know how much it can hurt.

I'm familiar with country life, having lived in the heart of Surrey for 9 years. At the moment I live near London, but yearn to move back to a more rural way of life, and wake up to the smell of the sweet earth again.

When the chemistry is right, I am prepared to open my heart and give 110% to the relationship, but will accept no less in return.

......well, he must be straight..... happy, trustworthy, caring, fun loving, and tender. I would not like him to be 'loud', so if you're used to shouting or yelling, then press the exit button now. I'm a real romantic, so would still enjoy his attention and cuddles, but would not necessarily want to be 'smothered'. I also like my man to smell good......so, that expensive aftershave is a must.

I am of cuddly build, and am comfortable with my weight, although I try to spend a few hours a week speed walking in the hope of losing a few extra pounds to sqeeze back into that little black number. I'm typical of a 60 year old woman, but my brain seems to have stuck to around 35 years old......isn't it weird how that happens!!!
