BlondeVelvet (58) from North Yorkshire

I hate this bit but here goes... I am 5ft 2 , long blonde hair(at the moment though this could change peridoically)and have blue eyes ( no plans to change that at the present!!) I'm nearly divorced and live with my two teenage sons and my mad dog. i have been 'alone' for almost 3 years and although i am trying to forge a new life for myself i haven't quite got the balance right. i always use the excuse that i haven't got time to do the things i want but i guess the real reason is i need someone to share things with. i live between the yorkshire dales and the moors and i love the countryside..and the coast with a love of Whitby especially. i'm very young at heart and can be a bit dizzy at times verging on childish...a bit of a 'peter pan-ess' !!! i dont want to grow old gracefully!!!
i enjoy the cinema but if you ever come with me never allow me to have tubs of popcorn cos they invariably end up scattered all over the foyer before i even get to my seat !!!....so I'd better admit to being a bit clumsy too!!
I am quite talkative but make a good listener...just put your hand up if you want to interupt me(only joking).In fact i can be very supportive and sympathetic..
I love eating out and i know its corny but my favourite places are the traditional country pubs. I enjoy visiting national trust places and other touristy attractions but prefer to visit them 'out of season'.
well this is proving harder than thought .so i think i will leave it for now and update later but untill then
....anything you want to know please ask..i'm an open book !!

ps.....dont be alarmed.only picture i have of me is at whitby goth weekend last october.....i'll try and get a 'normal' one asap

I spent years being the 'strong' one in my relationship....and now i want to feel what it's like to be cared for and looked after...not that it would be all one way..i am warm and loving and caring..I put great emphasis on friendship..a partnership should be a meeting of minds as well as kisses and cuddles..I want that excitement and buzz of knowing there is someone i want to spend all my time with and that they genuinely want want to be with me. .. someone to share silly jokes with, someone to share cosy nights in with, exciting trips out, walks on the beach or in the country..I've done the 'on my own bit'.....now i want to share everything with a soulmate...surely there's someone out there meant for me?
