How many times have i heard that nice things come in little packages, well i am looking for someone who agrees. I am short and cuddly but with a heart of gold, very loving and very tactile. I can be quite shy at first but given the right company will come out of my shell. I am easy going, easy to please and open-minded. Happy to go out for meals, concerts, theatre, to the pub, pictures etc. but just as happy to stay in and cuddle up.

I like someone who is confident in themselves, a gentleman who can treat a woman as an equal, someone who can relax and wants to enjoy life and share it with someone special. Im looking for an honest reliable one-woman man, someone who is loving, tactile and not afraid to show it and can talk openly and be very sensual.

My hobbies and interests

Cooking	Never had anyone appreciate good cooking so I don't excel at it, but I guess anyone can follow a recipe, if there was an appreciative person to cook for.
Shopping	I don't particularly like shopping. I hate clothes shopping, Imelda Marcos I will never be. I like to look around quaint individual shops in quaint villages though.
DIY	I am no good at DIY. I will do the housework while the man does the DIY, either that or I have to buy in the help. Anyone know a cheap handyman?
Housework	I would say houseproud, but I would still like to think my home is homely. I am not obsessive though, just a weekly overhaul.
Dining out	I love to eat out, whether it be chinese, indian, english, nice country pub lunch. I tend to go for steak as I can never cook it right myself, or chicken dishes is my second favourite.
Movies	I like going to the pictures. I like all sorts of films, sci-fi or epic pictures, comedies, whatever takes the fancy.
Theatre	If i go to the theatre, its usually for a musical. Not seen a serious play for many a year, but always willing to give it a go.
Music	I love most types of music, although not into opera. Preferences would be pop, r&b, reggae, 50/60s rock. If music be the food of love, then I am always hungry for it. Its feelgood, can take away a sad mood and make you feel happy
Gigs	I like to hear live bands whether in local pub or in a concert, but i dont think you would catch me at Glastonbury or any of those large outdoor gigs where you have to wear wellies, sit on mud and cross your legs
Pubs	I am a social drinker so prefer to drink in pubs but its always nice to be home too
Clubbing	I hope my clubbing days are behind me, I just have to find them as they went walkabout a few years ago and I havent managed to find them again yet
Newspapers and magazines	I read the free ones daily
Books	Havent really picked up a book for ages, although i know i should.
TV	Channel 5 tends to be my favourite channel these days. Thank you Freeview. I like sci-fi programmes, but if there is nothing else of my choosing on tv, i know i can always rely on Channel 5 for CSI etc.
Watching sport	Formula 1 for me, and speedway. I like the Winter Olympics too.
Playing sport	Does night-time sport count? I really must get active again
Hobbies	The little time i have i pass on MSE fleetingly. Passions are high

My ideal date	Presuming its not a first date. Sitting on a beach in the moonlight, listening to the lapping of the waves on the shoreline, drinking cocktails and being cuddled by a lovely person
What would I never, ever give up?	My children. They are precious to a parent, and they look to their parents to be there for them and care and love them
If I had to give a speech on a subject I was passionate about ...	the lack of manners and self respect of some people in todays society
If I could visit anywhere in the world at any time in history	I would love to visit the South Pacific islands, made famous in several films. Just looks beautiful and fascinating
If I had a million pounds to give to charity	I would split the money between several charities, mainly for children abused/neglected by their parents and also old people and their families who are affected by dementia/parkinsons disease
My "and finally" section ...	I may be quite and am more likely to be in the background with people i dont know, in company i know and feel confident with i can be completely different
