I'm an easy going man who enjoys socialising, walking, reading, pubs - the usual!

I'm a professor working at Exeter University but living in Torquay. My background is as a sociologist, but since most sociology departments have dwindled away I ply my trade in the Business school - where I can continue to research and teach organizational sociology. Research is my biggest love, and I've spent lots of time in East Asia studying organizations in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong. This has been a great privilege.

My favourite author is J.P.Donleavy, whose books I love and which I re-read every two years or so.


 

I'd like to meet a woman with a higher education background and a critical perpective on life.

More importantly I wish to find a woman with whom I could begin to build a solid relationship with.
