I like being with people as well as pursuing my own particular and varied interests. I have been a part time student for the last few years, and have been running my own small business as well as teaching Fashion and dressmaking both at a local College and independently. I have 2 children, one lives with me and is at college, the other is grown up and starting her own family in East Yorkshire. We have 2 batty cats.

I have lots of interests and I am fascinated to find out what floats your boat. I have long been a member of CAT (Centre for Alternative Technology) based in Wales. I am also a member of the Federation of Small Businesses, as i run one myself. I am mostly happy when I'm being creative and artistic. My business keeps me busy as well as my teaching.

The workings of the mind interest me, and some of the studying i have done is in psychology. I enjoy Yoga and meditation, and part of my new business is I hold development workshops and I also give Tarot readings and spiritual healing.

I believe that destiny and the amazing powers of the universe are taking me where they wish me to be and I know I will be on this planet until my job is completed. I have been proven to be right in this, when I am more positive about everything, the right things happen in my life, and when i worry about stuff things take a downward spiral.

I also take a keen interest in local and national issues and have an opinion on most things. I feel that some things are better these days than they used to be, but others are worse. I am interested in understanding the world around me, and look between the lines if you know what I mean.

I love to be in the countryside and feel at one with the natural world. I dream of being self-sufficient one day, living off the land and working and living in harmony with animals, birds and nature, the elements.

In my beliefs, I am spiritual in that I believe I understand where I come from and where I am going. I believe we create our own world to live in, which puts responsibility for doing good back onto our own shoulders. I firmly believe in the power of positive thought for bringing about change.

I enjoy the Great British countryside, especially Yorkshire. Historical sites like standing stones and museums give us a window into the past, and I feel we can learn from that. I love the seaside, the cinema (when the audience shuts up and let you watch the film) especially when it makes you think. I like reading, walking, unspoilt pubs full of people of mixed shapes, sizes, colours, ages etc. People-watching is a fun pastime of mine.

I run an events business and run open development groups which help individuals to develop their innate abilities, I also run organise small festivals and training events, as well as Ghost Hunts which feeds my interest in the paranormal world.

My future friends may well be interested in creating a simple life in the country, getting back to the ways which meant so much but have now been largely left behind. You could be creative, attentive, thoughtful, warm, intelligent, kind and loving.
