My motto is to live and let live. I treat people the way I'd like to be treated - with courtesy, consideration and compassion. If I can help, I will, and I will never knowingly hurt anyone.
As I live alone, I will do anything I please - as long as it harms none. And I'll usually try anything twice - the second time is to make sure I really like or dislike it.

Photography is one of my passions. Some pictures from meet-ups are in my galleries here, lots more are online at my Flickr group, Crystal Realm (people pictures viewable by invitation only), some appear on a council website and other places across the Internet, even on a special Christmas card sent to household across a borough.

I love plants and wildlife, and the great outdoors... walking, exploring, treasure-hunting, travelling, archery, aviation, Formula-1, scuba and snorkelling, cruising on water - yes, I've tackled canal locks, fished in the deep sea, piloted an airplane, and I do see a world in a grain of sand and a heaven in a wildflower.
I enjoy my work - in science, journalism, writing and now web editing and development. I'm also spiritual and creative, and drawn to unexplained phenomena and tomorrow's science (today's magic?).

I'm looking for friends and terrific people (both men and women) to share activities and socialise with. I am a private person. I value my good friends and my only son (now pursuing his Master's degree in astro-chemistry) - and will move mountains to help them.

My heart only has room for love, my mind is wide open and I keep my karma squeaky clean, and my soul... that's for my soulmate to discover.
When the time is right, romance will drift in unexpectedly, tap me on the shoulder and say "boo!" in the nicest possible way.
