I am 41. I've been single for more than a year now and am ready to start meeting people again.

My interests include art, history, architecture and the countryside. But I also love eating out and watching trashy TV! I've also got into DIY and gardening recently, having sworn that gardening would NEVER be my thing!

I work full time and really enjoy my work. I've lived in Cumbria almost all my life apart from when I went away to university where I studied, not surprisingly, history!

Favourite music - anything from the Sugarbabes to Mozart.

Favourite TV - Frasier, Sex and the City and most documentaries.

Favorite film - Babette's Feast or Amelie.

I am looking for friendship and possibly more. I would be more than happy to meet a new friend to just go out and do stuff with. But equally it would be great to meet someone who I could make a special connection with. Someone who is easy going with a good sense of humour and doesn't take life TOO seriously!
