I've ended up back in my hometown and despite attempts to escape to warmer climes or to be ensnared by the sights and sounds of the city. I've embarked on another post-grad program as part of a plan to write a book and to become a stuffy, tweed jacket wearing academic. Actually, on second thought skip the aspirations for tweed and patches on the elbows. Anyhow, since most of my old social entourage have moved away to the city, I felt it's time to meet some new acquaintances. Hope to hear from similar minded people for tea and carrot cake.
