New in town and hopeful of not only making new friends but meeting someone special as well, someone who'll always be on my side - which would work both ways of course. Ideally reasonably close to home but aware that the perfect person might not live on my doorstep am open midned about distance.
I moved to Surrey to be closer to family, especially grandchildren who are very important to me. But that isn't all that I'm about. I have lots of interests, including writing (I've had a few books published), walking (long ones preferably), car boots (I love a bargain and doing things up), films, art galleries, reading (crime mostly), and I'm up for a weekend (or longer) away at the drop of a hat. Lots more besides as well.
Wouldn't ncessarily expect the people/peron I'd like to meet to share my interests, but would hope they would appreciate the importance of family. Also not too conventional preferably, and have an open mind on most subjects, and not too stuck in their ways.
