Out there somewhere there’s someone for me,
who likes the outdoors, and places to see.
A man who will treat me with care and respect,
but me and my dog, well, we come as a set,
so he’d have to like animals and going for walks,
away from it all to relax and for talks.

My hobbies are gardening, photography, art,
I’d like to share past-times, or have interests apart.
Nearly all subjects appeal to me,
but football and cars? well, we’d have to see.
Crowds and noise is not where I’m at,
rather sit on the sea wall for chips and a chat.

In a potted version? - I’m an avid non-smoker,
I’ve a dry sense of humour and been called a joker.
My cooking’s OK, but my poetry's bad,
Sometimes I’m sane and sometimes I’m mad,
I’m looking for some one for whom I can care,
