I'be been a very happy single mum for many years and now very aware that my brood are almost off and on their way.

I think the human race is under-estimated, 99% are lovely and always more interesting than me. After all, I know about me, its the rest of the world that I don't know!
 

Friendship ... people with a passion for life in general and what they personally are interested in. Have to admit, I'm an armchair enthusiast... I am addicted to fishing programmes on the TV but have never picked up a fishing rod, I read travel literature obsessively, but rarely have had the opportunity to travel properly.

Being very selfish, I would really like to meet people who have done the things that I just read about!
