I am friendly, affectionate, laid-back, sensitive, easy-going, honest, non-judgemental, sometimes shy, often daft, and I love to laugh. I'm intelligent, with a good education, reliable, a loyal friend, I love animals, and have the patience of a saint. I'm pretty fit and try to keep trim. And modest with it.

Like black and white movies, especially old British comedies and old horror movies. Love Zulu, Rocky Horror, QI, some sci-fi. No interest in soaps or celebrities. Can't abide musicals. Don't do nightclubs or noisy pubs. I meet friends to have interesting conversation, and you can't do that when there's some idiot screeching 'I will survive' in yer lughole.
I paint when the muse inspires me - portraits, seascapes, am good at trompe l'oeil, do a bit of gardening, a lot of reading, walk a friend's dog for miles, socialise occasionally. Enjoy food - I make the world's best apple pie. Like to sit in front of an open fire, toasting my toes and dreaming. Spend too much time alone, and apathy is setting in.
