About me

I am looking for a woman in the Dorset/Hampshire/Wilts area - sensible commuting distance from me.

Good looks are pretty subjective and therefore a matter of personal taste. By now you will have seen at least one of my photos so you will have a very two dimensional idea of what I look like but are unlikely to have gained a flavour of the real person behind the image. I am the kind of guy that can see beyond the exterior and prefer to look for the inner beauty.

I am naturally a happy person and look for the good in all situations finding that humour is a great way to feel good about life. I do believe we should all try and make the best of ourselves and be happy with what life brings us but that does not prevent me from striving to do better.

Friendship is a great start for a serious relationship and I am looking for long term commitment but, as ever, it must be with the right person so I am happy to find friendship and let things develop naturally. I have heard it said it is better to have a good friend then a bad lover and I think this is so true. I am blessed to have good friends of both sexes and some bear testimony to the success of these sites!

People matter to me and I am a sociable person but two way fidelity is also important to me so you will never have to worry when I am out of your sight.

The children referred to in the earlier section are step-children from my main long term relationship which ended about 3 years ago. Though they are not biologically my own, I do still welcome them as such. I still see my youngest step child (17 now) who has known me as a father from the age of 2 and have a good relationship with him.

I am fairly easy going and don't tend to get stressed out or uptight. My sense of humour is never very far away and I am comfortable in my own skin. From the outside I can appear a bit reserved, but blossom when you get to know me. I am straightforward and believe in saying what you mean and meaning what you say but with tact and diplomacy for the feelings of others.

About you

A woman that is attractive - to me. Age, race, colour, creed, etc., is largely unimportant, as I like to judge everyone on their own individual merits. I do like a woman who takes care of her appearance and tries to make the best of herself and knows how to behave. I do like a laugh, so am not stuffy. I just don't want some loud, foul mouthed fish wifey type of chavvy woman who would even be a disgrace to Rab C Nesbitt.
