My hobbies and interests

Cooking	I love to cook a hearty meal starting with the raw ingredients. Chilli Con Carni or a stir fry tend to be my safest dish when friends are round. Guests to my BBQs are best to eat before they come as it could be some hours before I get the coal going (I don't like to cheat).
Shopping	Love to spend be it clothes or DIY. Hate to be ripped off though so will put in the leg work to compare prices first.
DIY	There's nothing more satisfying than a job well done. It's often a steap learning curve.
Housework	Mmmm I dust my favourite pieces of furniture.
Dining out	I love to have a social drink out and will enjoy a none fussey meal out.
Movies	Enjoy a good light hearted comedy.
Theatre	Enjoyed a matinee last favourite was Sister Act.
Music	Can't stand load music and wiggling my tush is not my thing. Happy in a bar with quiet live music in the background e.g. folk, country, jazz or classical. Anything but head banging.
Gigs	Totally noise avoider - like the plague.
Pubs	Love a giggle with mates other a Smirnoff Ice.
Clubbing	Absolutely not for me - pointless wiggling to loud music that I don't enjoy ((oops I guess I'm opinionated))
Newspapers and magazines	Occassionally look over a gardening magazine generaly caste off from a friend.
Books	Often start books - rather make time to finish them.
TV	A good opportunity to chill out and switch off, enjoy just for brain dead pleasure.
Watching sport	I'm a doer not a watcher.
Playing sport	Absolutely try any sport (maybe not rugby). Tennis, cycling and swimming are my main sports. Just returned from Turkey where I canyoned - zip wire, abseiling, freefalling, also tried scuba diving. Tubing was the best.
Hobbies	Miss Musical here particularly the piano at present, enjoy chiling out with my pets too or gardening.

My hopes and dreams

In ten years I see myself	I'd like to be in a warm, loving, relationship.
Who would I invite to a dinner party?	Beethovan so I could ask him why he wrote such tricky bars in my piano music.
My ideal date	A random invite to meet doing something strange like ice-skating, zoobing (don't think I spelt that right), hot air balloon, roller blading (I hope he's strong enough to hold me up)
What would I never, ever give up?	laughing - it lifts not only my spirits but those around then catch it, the best stress buster and I don't do it nearly enough
If I had to give a speech on a subject I was passionate about ...	Geocaching
If I could visit anywhere in the world at any time in history	Wimbledon when they were playing with wooden rackets. I'd return with my modern one and like to think I'd beat them.
If I had a million pounds to give to charity	British Heart Foundation as it saved my brother's life.
My "and finally" section ...	I believe strongly in that you know your right date by their scent (oh boy that could you turn up to dates without washing - which wasn't what I meant).
