Hi.

I have updated the wording on this profile a couple of times but somehow I just cant seem to get the typed word to reflect the "real me" if you know what I mean .. but here we go, I am trying again

So what to tell you ... well I am a nurse and an alternative health care practitioner ... and people and health and what makes people tick are certainly passions of mine. I love to people watch for example .. and love learning about people. Actually I just love people.

That said, I am not an extrovert .. but neither am I introvert. In fact I think I am a series of apparent contradictions ... for example, I do tend to be quite shy in groups and yet can stand up in front of 50 people and lecture. I tend to be better on a one to one with people ... yet love social gatherings too (so long as the environment isnt too noisy ... I struggle then lol)

I would desribe myself as a very caring and compassionate person with alot of love to give the right person. I am honest, witty, intelligent and fun .... but missing certain things in my life

I miss that sharing and caring that comes from being in a loving relationship. I miss the physicality too, from the hand holding, or the hug, right through to the "full works" lol

I have lots of interests beyond people and health ... such as photography, singing (though Im not good), astronomy, reading, good conversation, eating out, eating in, the cinema etc etc

I also love music ... and have eclectic tastes but particularly love clssic rock and prog rock (less into the heavier rock as I used to be) ... but I love folk, classical, choral, world music etc etc too. Infact in July this year I sopent 4 days camping at WOMAD festival (world of music and dance) ... all international music, dance, song etc etc ... I saw and heard music that I didnt even know existed ... it was fabulous ... definately going next year

I also love being in nature ... so I love to be by the sea or in the hills or by the river ... and love to just walk and enjoy just being there ... and sometimes I like to take photographs while I am there ... whether that be a scenic view, a sunset, or a dragon fly or kingfisher ...

As for TV ... Well I watch it ... but prefer documentaries to most of the rubbish that is on these days. I do watch some soap (if it happens to come on) but dont go out of my way to see it ..and if a better offer comes along, so much the better

 

So what am I looking for ... well I am very open to making friendships with both men and women ...

But ideally I would like to meet that special person ... for a long term loving relationship

He must be kind, caring, honest, intelligent and good company with a good sense of humour. I dont want to be too prescriptive here as that then runs the risk of missing "Mr Right" simply because he didnt tick this box or that box
