Hi

Well here goes .... I am a "young" middle aged 5'8" and slightly overweight confidant (but non aggressive) woman with a good sense of humour and would also describe myself as intelligent.

I have actually had a profile here for a long while .. but not frequented the site for some time ... maybe over a year .... longer ... Im not sure as I took a break from internet dating. However, Im back now and looking for some fun dates with interesting, laid back and fun guys and if anything more develops, all well and good, and if not, well hopefully a good date or two was had by all :)

I am in the caring professions and love to work with people .... and so consider myself very fortunate to have a job in the first place, but also to really enjoy it :)

I have quite a few interests .... but one of my main ones is walking .... and I like to walk with my beautiful rescue dog, that I have had for a year now. She is just the most lovely natured dog, and who ever would abandon her to have her put down I dont know.

Another interest is photography .... though I am only an amateur but I just enjoy it. I have a good canon digital slr and a couple of lenses for those that know about such things :) I certainly prefer to be behind the lens rather than in front of it .. as like many people, Im not that comfortable having my piccie taken ... and I am certainly not photogenic .... I was once .... as a baby ... then it was all downhill from there lol

I also like the standard things that appear on many profiles, eating out, eating in, DVD, reading, music, bottle of wine and a movie, cinema, theatre, the sea side, travel, etc but all of these are so much more enjoyable with another person to share it with

As a person, once I get close to someone I am quite passionate and tactile .... you have been warned LOL

I am also quite a spontaneous person ... and prefer spur of the moment things .... or in the short term future ... Im not a great planner of my social life ... I cant remember the last time I planned a trip away months in advance for example. So much more exciting to do it as and when you fancy, circumstances permitting :)

Im not in cloud cuckoo land and expecting "Mr Perfect" to happen along as I view him through my rose tinted specs ..... but rather, I am open to finding "Mr good guy, who is fun and decent and with his quirks and faults who accepts me and appreciates me for mine"

I dont want to stipulate too many criteria here .... except that reasonably local would be good and a non smoker a must ... and of course a fun, honest decent guy goes without saying really ... and one who doesnt yet own "The Carpet Slippers"

.... unconventional is good too as I am, despite my outer appearance lol
