amberwolf    (55) from Derbyshire 

i'm 55,separated after 17 yrs & finding it very hard,i have a teenage daughter & a grown up son, i also have 3 beautiful grandchildren, 2 girls and a little boy. i'm quite plump in build but slowly losing it. i stopped smoking 6 yrs ago for my health & wished i hadn't. i love reading & listening to my records & i like taking photos of my family. i used to enjoy going to clubs and having a drink & playing pool & having fun but now thats all gone and i'm left with me knitting;-) i DO have a sense of humour somewhere, honest. i can also be very grumpy, but one thing i am above all else is, i'm loyal,& a good friend to those who deserve it and not to those who don't. i love animals, i used to have loads of friends but they've all disappeared over time, the bestest friend i ever had was my sister (who died last year)& i sorely miss her. i've moved about a lot, i've lived in london, derby(my fave place) liverpool, gainsboro, norfolk & leicester, i was born in hexham northumberland, but i grew up in chesterfield, i'm disabled and though a lot of people laugh at me because i ride a mobility scooter,(they think i'm too young for one,)i can go where i please on it without having to rely on anyone which is great, especially in the summer. my granddaughters fight over who's going to sit on my knee, trouble is it doesn't go fast enough for me, though i don't use it all the time, it helps me. i used to love motorbikes when i was a lot younger, but not ridden one for years. i have a jack russell called libby. i love most music but especially the 60s and 70s which was my era so to speak, not jazz though. i love collecting things too & going to car boots i think you can safely call me a "packrat". i'm aquarian and a dreamer. i hate wars and religion and politics which are the cause of most wars, & i hate SPIDERS UGH, oh & i can't stand football i'm afraid. i'm not very active due to disabilities but the mind is still very active, at least i hope so, i also like board games, pc games, films.

 

i just want someone to talk to & try & have friends, hopefully learn to be happy again, i don't want anyone who has only romance in mind, I DON'T, not yet anyway.
it would be nice to have friends from different places which would be my way of travelling the world, i've never had the opportunity.& i also know what it's like to be lonely and in need of someone to just, be there. i want to learn to be carefree again and not shy about meeting new people, so i hope someone out there will take pity on me & write & convince me there is someone out there who can make me smile again.
