I'm a lively vivacious person - somewhat Scandinavian looking with long blonde hair, and tall (hence Amazon). I am loyal, multi talented, have hidden shallows as well as depths, am a great friend and am fun to be with as well as a good help mate. I work in a demanding job full time and have always worked hard, but like putting my feet up and curling up with my lover and watching a good movie with a glass of wine in hand. I like serious art films as much as blockbusters or silly comedies as long as they are clever. I am happy to dress up to go up or chill out in wellies and walk along the beaches, or along a lake side or beside a river (the water theme is strong here!)... I have travelled a lot and want to keep that up and am interested in the world and people all around me...
I need a laugh to keep sane so have a strong sense of humour - usual stuff, stand up comedians, some good TV, silly films etc. 

I am looking for a great mate...and I don't mean platonic, I'd like to get to know someone well enough to feel very close with them, and plan future trips and fun events together as well as giving and receiving support in the day to day humdrum of life.
I need someone I can trust as I'm not into game playing, and need someone firing on lots of brain cells, but who I can admire for their practical and down to earth side too - oh and sense of humour to not take themselves too seriously as a grown up v v important.
