Alwine (73) from South East London

I am 69 years of age. Originally come from Germany, but have lived in London for 47 years & English Naturalized. I am divorced, have 4 grown-up children, who don't live with me, but 2 of them live also in London & the other 2 live abroad: 1 in the South of France & 1 in Melbourne AUSTRALIA.

Have had an active life with bringing up 4 children; have travelled a fair bit.

I live in London & since my children have all gone i live alone. So, interests change. I am interested in many things, love the London Art Galleries, where i have spent lots of time in the last few years. I also like walking, so, i'm a member of the Rambler's Association & have recently completed the Capital Ring - 72 miles around London with lots of History. Would like to do the London Loop - 153 miles further out of London, which preferably i would like to do with another person. Until recently have cycled & like travelling. Love Films! Like Reading, one of my favourite books is 'The Snow Leopard' by Matthiessen. Recently read 'The Beckoning Silence' by Joe Simpson - a marvellous account of the human Spirit. Like Music, mostly classical, but a good pop song will do as well as country music & music from around the world. Love good food & so many more things life has to offer, which i would rather share with someone than alone.

An intersting man. Dont't really know what i'm looking for - a friend with whome i can share some of my interests. People are all so different, maybe the first step is to meet & take it from there.
