About me

How to describe me?? I am an American woman living in rural Northern Ireland. I have a broad, dark sense of humour, and try to see the funny side of things.

I am over-educated in useless things, love most types of music, am always reading something, and was quite active in theatre and live music when I lived in the States.

I am trying to branch out a bit here, hoping to start doing some voice-over work, had a couple of small things published, and did my own cabaret show while back.

Although getting older by the minute, I still don't scare small children, and men still make colourful suggestions to me, so I am reasonably well-preserved! I have dark brown eyes and hair, sadly the hair has started to go a bit grey here and there, so I have started to cheat at a local salon! Pale skin, hate pictures of myself 'cause I don't photo well, also don't know how much the looks matter if I'm just trying to increase my social circle. Oh, and my 'build' varies between average and cuddly--well-upholstered but not wobbly, hope that helps!

What am I looking for? Hard to describe--Lots of things.
I married a lovely man but he doesn't like to socialise much, and many of my women friends are busy w/children, etc., so I tend to feel a bit isolated a lot of the time, even most of my hobbies are solitary!

I would like pen-pals/friends that I could do coffee or a few drinks with, maybe even talk about books we're reading or stuff we're writing. Wouldn't mind finding some folks to sing blues with- I have a good mezzo voice.

I always had guys that were good buddies to me when I was younger-and I miss that, so I am just trying to broaden my horizons!
