Hello everyone :)

I love learning new things, where that be from people, some kind of course or at work but I hate wildly useless information such as celebrity gossip or talking about soaps.

I'd like never to have to work! But less hours of work would be nice although I don't know anyone who has ever asked for MORE work :D So I suppose I should learn to be a little more content? I'm always looking for the better deal though...

I can take an interest in almost any topic, providing it doesn't start with "this one time I was so drunk right..." and ends with "I was so smashed that night man". The odd drunken tale or a "this one time at band camp" story is great fun but if drinking is a constant part of your lifestyle I don't think we'd click very well.

My main interests however, include computing, meals out, movies (both at home and cinema), golf at the driving range a little, walking sometimes. I enjoy shopping to a certain degree. I also enjoy a touch of DIY. I enjoy bowling and pool/snooker but never find time to play those :( Oh, I also like blackjack and other card games but I never really play them... I always lose! I enjoy a lot of retro stuff aaand... well I can go on about my likes for years...

As for my profession or my education; I have studied computers extensively, been heavily involved in property development. I have done some studying in psychology. I take an interest in law, politics, religion and philosophy but I rarely get to talk about any of these.

A lot of my time is taken up with my son as I'm a single Dad (around 3-4 days a week). He really is a good boy and loves other children, he's got a few bumps lately from playing with the bigger kids!

My main qualities would be honesty and loyalty. I have a broad sense of humour from dry, childish, high and low brow, dark or twisted. Bad puns really make me laugh too.

Music does not play a large part in my life. I do enjoy some rock, metal, punk, techno, ska and random geek music amongst other genres but I can go days without listening to a song quite happily. I do not enjoy RnB or Rap music...

It'd be great to meet someone who likes the same as me but I'm very accepting of differences and can take an interest in them. I really enjoy good conversation, ideally, with someone who is smarter than me!

Sorry if all that sounds a little blunt, it's hard to talk about yourself without making it sound like a CV o.o;
