About me

Hi, My name is Trevor (or Trev which ever you prefer!). I'm 54 and for the past couple of years I've been in the process of down-sizing and re-engineering both my life and my lifestyle.

I had decided that somewhere I'd lost the meaning of living (no not 42!) ... and not just in my work life.

So I've just finished taking a sort of sabbatical and re-evaluating what it is I want and who I am? Sounds all a bit deep and boring, but I'm having a great time.

Just got a new job in Clinical Audit in NHS and start in Jan 2008 so should be able to keep the dogs fed for a while longer :)

Downsizing has been not easy and financially it was not a good move, but emotionally and spiritually a growing success!

I live in a small rural village in West Cumbria overlooking the Lakeland fells but only a few minutes from the Solway Coast, so best of both worlds. I currently share my home with my two dogs Butch & Midnight (oops my 18 year old daughter just moved back in, but for how long????) who I love dearly

I know this is not your average sort of profile...but then I'm not looking to meet your average sort of person.

As a former musician, my love of music is at the centre of my life. But people are important to me too and I know there are times I can when I can isolate myself from people and thats not good for any of us!

I have three children from 18 to 25, and although my children no longer live with me keep in touch as much as I feel they want.

Kids need a Dad who cares, and I DO. Very much.

I recently come out of a fairly intense relationship and feel a bit bruised. But I'd still I like to meet people who are independent in their thinking, and lifestyle

Know their own mind & sexuallity, or, are not afraid to explore it and are not afraid to show it, or their thinking and feelings.

*I dislike fundamentalists, radicals and bigots of any shape, creed or colour, BIG-TIME*

Caring about all sorts of things is important. Too many to list here. If your in to music cool, if not, so what.

I don't drink, but don't mind pubs. I like the films and radio with some occasional TV.

I'm a pretty tactile person so cuddles etc are important to me. As is contact don't mind email, txt, voice or heaven forbid even in person :-).

Time together is so important. Talking or just being there for one another.

No need to fill silence. I'm pretty comfortable with 'an easy silence'.

An ideal day is walking through woods I just know the faeries are in there somwhere!

An ideal evening is chilling sitting in front of my log fire with music, company and conversation to suite.
