Iam fairly laid back, most things flow past rather than linger. Enjoy being in company, but not necessarily in the centre. Can be outspoken, but not to be rude. Do not suffer fools!. Enjoy learning new skills; have done Phd at OU in last few years.

I took early retirement in 2001, but still do odd jobs when mood/needs take me.
Before that had always worked in the motor/haulage industries usually in a sales or management role.

My interests are broad, but my passion is motoring. I own 2 vintage cars plus other modern things. Have a caravan, which is great for those nice quiet impromptu weekends away.
I enjoy cooking, and entertaining be it for one or many. Whilst it is nice to sit on the beach, I do like to explore wherever Iam. Seeing the sights, and finding the local culture in far away places.

As for the rest, sunday roasts, travel, books, puzzles, walking, historical buildings, the English countryside.

Have travelled fairly well. Visited China several times, Thailand, and most of Nth Europe & Scandinavia. Want to go to Tibet/Nepal.

Doing all of these things in the company of a lady would be so much more fulfilling.

I own my house, which I share with a Black & White Staffie called Taz (aka Pudding) who is equally laid back. Would be prepared to relocate for the right reason. Beard is optional!! 

I would like to meet an intelligent, tactile,hopefully attractive lady. Someone who is active but also likes the quiet moments. She would take an interest in my hobbies, but also have her own in which I could share. A friend, lover, and equal partner in life.
