I like being with people as well as pursuing my own particular interests. I have been a part time student for the last few years, and have been running my own small business as well as teaching Fashion at the local College. I have 2 children, one lives with me and the other is grown up and lives nearby. Oh and a cat.

I have many interests, and I am fascinated to find out what floats your boat. I am happy when I'm being creative and artistic. My business keeps me busy as well as my teaching.

The workings of the mind interest me, and some of the studying i have done is in psychology. I enjoy Yoga and meditation, and I take workshops in a local New Age Alternative Therapies business, I also give life readings and do healing.
I believe destiny is taking me where it will and I know I will be here until my job is done.

I also take a keen interest in local and national issues and have an opinion on a lot of things. I feel that some things are better these days than they used to be, but others are worse. I am interested in understanding the world around me.

I love the countryside and feeling at one with the natural world. I dream of being self-sufficient one day, living off the land and wornking and living in harmony with animals, birds and nature.

In my beliefs I am spiritual in that I understand where I come from and where I am going. I believe we create our own world to live in, which puts responsibility for doing good back on our own shoulders.

I enjoy the Great British countryside, especially Yorkshire. Historical sites like standing stones and museums give us a window into the past, I feel we can learn from that. I love the seaside, the cinema (when the audience shut up and let you watch the film) especially when it makes you think. I like reading, walking, unspoilt pubs full of people of mixed shapes, sizes, colours, ages etc.

 

My ideal partner is yet to cross my path. He is a human being (!) and not afraid to be himself.

It is possible he may be interested in creating a simple life in the country, getting back to the ways which meant so much but have now been largely left behind. He may be creative, thoughtful, intelligent, kind, loving. Looks are not as important as the person inside, the real spirit and soul of the individual. However, I'm a sucker for baldies and beards (fickle I know)Bit of slap and tickle goes a long way.
