4thirds    (42) from the West Midlands 

well...me...42 with own little (very) place and 12 years in sort-of-legal profession job (and no NOT a lawyer!)

things I like: taking photos, occasionally even a good one; making pretty pictures with an assortment of software I'm not even close to understanding properly; animals (most!); music - lots of it, live if possible (not possible as often as I'd like), listening to Octavia Sperati as this is being written, will try most things but not rap/R&B/dance...enough of that on the bus every day :(... cooking, hardly Jamie Oliver (although can match Gordon Ramsey for language when I drop something), can usually find an excuse to add a drop or two of pepper sauce or a few herbs, although not vegetarian I do eat a lot of veggie things but like my farmers' market sausages and bacon too much! Will admit to being a keen football fan, had a season ticket at WS1 for a few years but haven't renewed it (long story); enjoy walks round the local countryside (or what passes for it here anyway!) but ought to do more of it, not always fun on your own; am trying to breed an entire tribe of redheads in VirtualVillagers II...some success!

things I don't like...ignorance and bad manners; most seafood; smoking; TV (got one but used almost exclusively for DVDs and confirming I haven't won the lottery again); people who use "rights" as an excuse to abandon responsibilities; Chelsea; lager; Staffies/rats-on-ropes; nightclubs

last thing sold on Ebay: two name badges from old double-decker buses, for rather more than I expected!

I have been struggling with depression for some time now, thought I was clearing the worst of it till one mistake and back to square one...if you've ever been there you'll know what I mean and how it happens, if you ever feel like nothing you do will ever be good enough...well you know

To be honest I'm not sure where I go from here right now and maybe not ready for more than talking at the minute, which being something I never was much good at to start with...er...you see? 

you...well you don't watch Eastenders or televised karaoke...! Am not looking for a goddess to worship; somebody to cook the odd meal for (and it would probably be something odd!) or see the occasional band with would be a good start...being reasonably local would help but maybe not essential...
