Independent - mostly - I am happy being with myself. I think it's important. How can you be comfortable with others if you don't know how to be comfortable with yourself; though I do have those needy moments but thankfully they don't last long. Imaginative - I confess I do daydream - it is, after all, a way to have a lovely mind trip without having to pack, get in the car or spend any money. I like to dream and plan for things that I might do but that doesn't mean that I have to do them. Sometimes it's enjoyable just having the dream.

OK, I also believe in treating other people they way I'd like to be treated and I'm always shocked when that doesn't happen - or perhaps disappointed would be more accurate.

I believe strongly in friendship and being loyal to friends. I try not to talk or gossip about people behind their backs, although I am only human and sometimes things slip out of my mouth before I can stop them. But I would never intentionally hurt someone. I hate it when someone is insensitive towards me so I wouldn't want to inflict that on anyone else.

I love having a good laugh. Laughter is everything. Life can get too serious sometimes. Laughter loosens the stress. It puts life back into perspective.

 

I would like to meet someone who is happy to let me being me and not expect me to be what they want me to be. Someone who is comfortable in their own skin and not expect me to make them happy - the only person who can do that is you! Someone who will be ok with me suddenly saying that I don't want to go to that party or that social event and be quite happy to go alone or vice a versa, me go if they don't want to.

I think respecting each other's individuality, accommodating someones quirks (oh yes I forgot to mention I've been called quirky but only from those who are really conservative!) is crucial if 2 people are trying to get along together.

Mostly I think it's important to have fun with someone, be a friend, be supportive and loyal and take them seriously.
