Professional woman with own well established business in the medical sector. I'm a Northern Lass - being held hostage in Scotland - please save me!

Open & honest - & absolutely vital in a partner. Wicked & cheeky sense of humour. Intelligent, attractive, independant, solvent (but not in a chemical way!) quick dry wit, loving, ridiculous & occasionally annoying! I'm currently 'cuddly', but a work in progress. Have considered hacksawing off a leg as an 'instant aid' to weight loss - but I still wouldn't be size 12, & it makes the logistics of using the cross trainer too difficult to work out. Spend 2 hours per day at the gym or walking, & am quite fit. Travel to NW & London regularly for business.

I'm strictly monogamous & injustice, insincerity, snobbery, predjudice, dishonesy & cruelty of any kind are my pet hates. Non religious, but believe in treating others as you wish to be treated yourself. I believe that the kindness you show to others will be returned 10 fold (hey, it works for me!).

Love the theatre, music (soul, classical), art, architecture, reading (yes, I can read too! Aren't I amazing?). I'm quite sentimental too - what do I miss most of all now that I don't live in the 'North' anymore? Being called 'Love' - miss the feeling of belonging & warmth that little word evokes!

I love a good debate on most subjects - intelligent & even ridiculous ones! Love observational humourists like Peter Kay & Bill Bailey. The Office, Frasier, Monk, About a Boy, Love Actually, The Shipping News, What's Eating Gilbert Grape?, East is East - all classics to me.

Done a lot of gliding, hang gliding & jumped out of the odd plane in the past (no, I wasn't pushed - cheeky!). Now relearning Spanish & French. Decided not to reattempt the Russian - sometimes still struggle with English!
