I'm quite a confident, assertive but laid back fella - I like to mix things up in life with keen interests in theatre (I work as a lecturer in theatre acting which is a big hobby in itself!) as well as less arty activities such as football and gigs. I regularly head into London for concerts, theatre and galleries and love lounging around the South Bank on summer days. I'm a big music fan with diverse musical tastes and can enjoy a heaving rock gig as well as a cool jazz club. I enjoy going to concerts but am increasingly heading for the seating area! I play and write bits of music myself too. Can't sing though...

I enjoy travelling. I should do more so would love to hear from ladies with itchy feet out there! Always nice to head for the sun but also interested in visiting strange and unusual places and cultures from Africa to Greenland! Would love to head to South Africa, Australia and South America in near future.

I'm also quite into keeping fit. I regularly go running, visit the gym 2/3 times a week as well as daily hikes with Nico, my cross collie pal. I'm certainly no fitness obsessive (hate 'gym posers') but like to enjoy the feeling of keeping fit as it transfers to all other areas of life. I also dabble in yoga. Less healthily but of equal importance, I like to visit local pubs for drinks/meals with friends and enjoy cooking at home.I'm vegetarian but love playing about with and ultimately devouring food from all around the world!

I'm very lucky in that my job allows me to work creatively within theatre and also work with young people, which I find extremely rewarding and enjoyable. I don't live for work by any means but think that its important to wake up in a morning looking forward to the day ahead, not filled with boredom, clock watching and dread! As with most on here, as rewarding as work is, there is still a feeling that something is missing from my life - namely someone to wake up with in the morning with and to share the days - hope that you're out there!


 

I would like to hear from someone intelligent, liberal, fun, keeps in good health and likes intelligent and idiotic conversation in equal measure!
