About me

Hello people! Firstly, I'd like to say I am NOT on "ESSENTIALS", just so you know! Right, now that’s out of the way what can I bore you with about myself.....

Well, I'm an extremely down to earth, honest and happy girlie, who's easy to talk to, a good listener, bubbly with a very dry wit, and one of the first things you'll probably notice are my eyes and smile. I love travelling as I like discovering new places and wandering around cities looking at architecture and historical sites. I've done a fair bit in the past as during my 20s I travelled around the world mainly to Australasia, Asia, Europe and America. I’m not really a ‘package’ holiday type of person as lounging around hotel pools and beaches just don’t do it for me! I’d much rather be doing something like hiking through the Kimberleys, trekking through a rainforest or taking in the Colosseum.

I enjoy the outdoors, walking/hiking, nature, camping, going to restaurants, theatre, pubs and gigs and concerts. I love music and my tastes are pretty wide but I guess on the whole I'm a bit of rock chick! I love having a laugh and making people laugh, and my favourite comedy shows are Only Fools & Horses, Dad's Army, Little Britain and Catherine Tate. I also like things I don't know I like, if that makes sense?! I'm also a bit prone to ramble on about nothing in particular and go off on the odd flight of fantasy now and again!

I'm now living back in East Anglia having lived and worked in London and I find it’s difficult to meet people these days as I’m busy working and most of my friends are either married or have emigrated.

About you

I'm looking for somebody who is after a long-term relationship rather than a short-term one. I'm not materialistic at all so what you do for a living or how much money you earn is immaterial to me. However, loyalty and honesty are the two most important things to me and I expect the same in return. You’ll perhaps be a bit quirky and ambitious (oh, but not obsessed!!), like travelling, but most of all you'll be someone who'll be my best friend and who I just simply connect with, as I believe a good solid friendship is the perfect base for a great long lasting relationship.

Failing to find the 'one' I’m happy to make new friends as you can never have too many friends in my book and I am a good friend. If you want to know more about me then simply just ask.
