GoAskAlice    (51) from Wiltshire

I'm a very independent woman living in Chippenham. I’m not into the usual “girlie” things (makeup, shopping, soaps etc) and I’m useless with children. I have a cat and I’m scared of dogs.

I do drive but if I can leave the car at home I do, I would much rather do my bit for the environment and walk or cycle or use the bus or train.

Although I don't know much about any of them, I like pre-raphaelite paintings, art deco architecture and topiary.

If you've not been frightened off by the above, ask me a question. Providing it's not something you wouldn't say in polite company (in which case I'll block you) you'll get an honest reply and may be pleasantly surprised. I'm not very good at small talk or "selling" myself but if you take the time to get to know me you'll find I'm not the scary witch I first seem.

I enjoy watching wildlife and have at last seen a real live free-range water vole. I still haven't walked all eight Wiltshire white horses but do I get bonus points for out-of-county ones? 

I am looking for a tall-ish man (you’ll have noticed that I’m a tall woman), probably in his fifties, for companionship and intelligent conversation. He mustn’t be a smoker. An interest in wildlife and country walks would be a bonus.
