About me
Always a difficult one!I've a good sense of humour-sometimes tend to minimalise things to find the humour but am deeply caring about all things especially family,friends and the state of the world in general .I love all the usual things going out ,staying in,standing up,sitting down,eating,drinking,etc etc.!!!Its not always the activity thats important but the person, or people, we do things with.
I enjoy gardening but understand its not always a shared passion so can always be distracted by a glass or three of a good chilled white wine;I love the countryside ,rivers and sea-sunsets and all that with the right person sound wonderful.I love live music especially folk and blues.I enjoy reading.I love my cats.I enjoy the theatre.And good food.I can both cook it and eat it.
I don't need to be with one person 24 hours a day as I am able to enjoy my own company but would love to find someone I feel totally at ease with to enjoy travelling and visitting different places.I've just been to New Zealand and would like to travel more.
On the negative side I dislike violence, can't deal with moodiness.Hate skiing.Couldn't live with a smoker.But if you can make me laugh I could put up with most things.....
About you
A George Clooney look alike will be just fine.But since I'm not quite a Michelle Pfeiffer thats probably unrealistic.(I live in hope.....!)So some sort of James Nesbit, Michael Palin,Bob Geldolf mix will be OK.(Its the personalities that attract me -not the looks!)
So are you compassionate,caring,fun,chilled? Can you make me laugh ? Enjoy an evening with family or friends? Engage me in interesting conversation? Not bore me with politics or try to teach me the theory of golf...or football; could you cook me a romantic and sexy meal?.... Peel my grapes..? Feed me your last rolo?...... Share the ironing?.......
Ideally I would like to find someone at the same 'stage of life'that I am at-getting ready to enjoy an active retirement.I don't mind what line of work you are in ..(legit preferably!)
I couldn't share my house with a tarrantula but don't mind most other wildlife.

I do believe that the likes and dislikes are only a part of a relationship-its the chemistry that make or breaks it...that mutual attraction that you can only find by experiencing it.
