Thank you for enlightening me Good2bwith. I now realise how primitive, privileged and group sink frightened this little forum is. Some real selfish nasties on here. But maybe the good people will return. Merci /\

The Boris in court thing is a farce.
There really are some dense, gullible people around, the Go Fund Me thing is an incredible way to get strangers to cough up lots of cash for any old sob story.
Someone set up a page for the old man who got "milk-shaked" because he was a Brexit supporter - I totally sympathise with the old guy, it's pathetic that some scumbag thought it was funny to do it.
However, the last I saw, the go fund me total had reached £14,000 and was growing - is this how we assuage our guilt and make ourselves feel like good citizens, by sitting at our computer and donating a few quid?...

Homophobic hate speech Reported

I see you're still doing that thing g2b, where you intentionally provoke anyone who posts, then if they retaliate in any way, you threaten them with being reported etc...It sums you up.

You once threatened me with the Police, after I retaliated to one of your vile provocations...

Just what kind of an arsehole are you? we go...the police threat again, no doubt...

I think you imagined that Good2BWith. The only offensive messages I have seen on here have been from you and your pal and as others have said it is spoiling what was a friendly forum. Not cliquey but friendly.

G2BW, I agree with you about Rory Stewart, I can't see him handling the likes of JRM, but he could yet surprise us.

I had a wonderful thought last night, I'd love to see a debate between JRM and Farrage, that could be real fun, I wonder who would explode first?

I see some female remainer judge is trying to put Boris' leadership chances down. It will never get to crown court madam. And only shows you up as prejudicial and unfit in your position, to be so petty, not too mention being influenced In matters outside your jurisdiction.

I think the country's going nuts. wow, like ….. rats running in all directions and getting nowhere. They simply don't want Brexit, I'm beginning to think they will do anything to stop it. Well we're leaving just the same ... :)

What would the debate be about? They're on the same side.

GBTW "Homophobic hate speech reported"

Really? Have I missed something? I cant see any such thing in the thread. Have you been taking something that induces hallucinations?

With regard to prosecuting Boris...yeah! Go for it! If it can be proved he lied he deserves everything that comes his way! Making an example of him might make some other MPs sit up and engage their brain before opening their mouth!

There's a hell of a lot us going to be reported to the police today by trolly, I think...At least it'll create an MSE meetup if we all have to 'help the police with their enquiries'...The meetups have been a bit lacking recently...
wonderoushen  Female  Gwynedd 30-May-2019 18:43 Message #4740988
I think Farrage and JRM could debate just about anything and probably rub each other up the wrong way.

Do you know how the judge voted in the referendum and why does her gender matter? I really don't think this is about brexit but about Boris and his leadership bid, dosen't strike you as a little suspicious that within a week of him announcing his candidacy that this comes up? As its a private prosecution the crown prosecution service can stop it or allow it to continue, if they stopped it, it would look more like political interference than if they allowed it to go to court on its own merits.
Gilpin  Female  Middlesex 30-May-2019 19:29 Message #4740991
I find Farage and Reece-Mogg though from opposite ends of the spectrum, very similar. They have more clarity and straightforwardness than any of the others, and are willing to speak it. They will give a straight answer if it's there. The worst offender is the Chancellor, I would say as duplicite as the PM herself.

She's a district judge, used to small time criminal offenders. But she did emphasise that the allegations were unproven. What exactly was her point. The misinformation would be the actual sum written on the bus, not the NHS so called pledge. It's petty, and so obviously a remain stab at Leave, like kids in a playground.

If Boris gets the leadership he will be the main influence in Brexit. It is about Brexit. They would be better bringing to trail politicians that have lied and caused wars causing 100s of 1000s of deaths. The establishment should look at their own criminal offences.

I feel a lot of opinions of politicians lately has been more about whether they are for or against Brexit than whether they are any good.

This latest opinion poll makes interesting, if scary reading for the new Tory leader (and for Corbyn).

Westminster voting intention:

LDem: 24% (+6)
Brex: 22% (+4)
Con: 19% (-5)
Lab: 19% (-5)
Grn: 8% (+2)

So do you have any evidence that she exceeded her role? She's obviously used to weighing evidence to see if there's a case to answer and where such cases should be heard. Just because theres a case to answer dosen't imply guiilt or innocence.

I watched Rory Stewart on QT last night, I was very impressed, I think we could do with a few more like him in Westminster, but I still can't see him being able to deal with those who don't want to think outside their own narrow positions, I might be wrong and he does really well. The thing that surprised me was how well the audience responded to him, both remainers and leavers seemed willing to listen and respond positively.
Gilpin  Female  Middlesex 31-May-2019 11:57 Message #4741023
The sum on the bus is over what we give them. But I think that's because we get some of it back. It seems rather trivial to go to that much trouble over.

As for the 'bus' influencing/fooling people, you'd think it was the only thing that determined the result of the referendum. This referendum had been promised by previous government, but only carried out by Cameron.

Leaving the EU has been on the cards for a long time. Possibly since Thatcher, so making a big thing of 'the bus', is another 'being fooled' type thing by remainers pushing their cause to stay in Europe.
fosy  Male  Leicestershire 31-May-2019 12:29 Message #4741024
Rory Stewart was good last night, and talks sense, but i can only see him as a minister, not pm.
its at times like this that we need a churchillian/thatcher type leader, someone who can inspire and lead, imo.
